【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverszinccoatingsappliedbytheelectrolyticprocesstohot-rolledandcold-rolledsteelsheet.Thecoatinghasasmooth,spangle-freesurface.Thezinc-coatedsheetcoveredinthisspecificationisproducedinawiderangeofcoatingmassestoprovidecoatingsthatarecompatiblewiththeanticipatedserviceliferequired.Thecoatingmassvaries,fromverythincoatingsthatareusuallypaintedtoprovidegoodservice,torelativelyheavymassesthatprovidegoodcorrosionresistanceinthebare(unpainted)condition.1.2Theproductshallbecoatedononeorbothsurfaceswithequalordifferentialcoatingmassesonthetwosurfaces.Sheetcoatedwithequalcoatingmassesoneachsurfacehassimilarlevelsofcorrosionprotectiononeachsurface.Often,however,ahigherlevelofcorrosionprotectionisrequiredononesurfacethanisrequiredontheother.Thusonesurfaceisspecifiedtohaveaheaviercoatingmassthantheother.Eithersurface,whenspecifiedtobepaintedwillprovideadditionalcorrosionprotectionascomparedtoanunpaintedsurface.1.3Thiscoatingprocesshasessentiallynoeffectonthebasemetalmechanicalpropertiesanduseispermittedonanygradeofhot-orcold-rolledsteelsheet.ThecoatedsheetisavailableasCommercialSteel(CS),DrawingSteel(DS),DeepDrawingSteel(DDS),Extra-DeepDrawingSteel(EDDS),StructuralSteel(SS),High-StrengthLow-AlloySteel(HSLAS),High-StrengthLow-AlloySteelwithImprovedFormability(HSLAS-F),Solution-HardenedSteel(SHS),orBake-HardenableSteel(BHS),seeSpecificationsA1008/A1008MandA1011/A1011M.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.
